During this period of self-isolation we are setting work here for distance learning. As stated in our newsletter on 23 March, please do as much learning as suits you as a family. So much learning happens from spending time with your children and doing things around the house (cooking, gardening) so take the time to enjoy these things together.
Please click on your year-group tab to see work set each week by the teachers. Teachers will add a monthly newsletter too - see these by clicking on the class tabs.
If you wish to contact your class teacher, you can do this via firstname.lastname@example.org and your message will be forwarded to them for you. They will get back to you as soon as they can.
Just to keep you busy, please see below some generic useful websites and activities below.
We would like to share with you a very exciting Art competition that you might like to take part in! (The prize is a Ralph Steadman goodie bag so it’s definitely worth doing)!
To enter, all you need to do is create a piece of artwork with the title ‘Time on my hands’. You can use any medium you like (pencil, charcoal, paint, sculpture, photography, paper maché) and all ages are welcome to enter.
Please get an adult to take a picture of your entry and send it via their Facebook Account if they have one to Sadie Williams via private message, including your name, age and address. You have until 6pm on Sunday 5th April to enter.
This is a competition for Loose residents only so that the winning prize can be dropped off (respecting social distancing rules of course!)
My Maths - Years 1 to 6
Please ensure that when your child logs onto MyMaths that they also log into their portal (using their unique username and password) in order to complete the work that has been assigned to them by their teacher. If they don't log in to their portal, they will not be completing work set by their teacher and therefore could be completing work that is either too hard or too easy for them.
