Our work as teachers begins by building upon the numerous skills you have fostered in your child at home. It is our aim to develop a successful partnership with you so that your child is given every possible opportunity to flourish.

Message from Freddie Thank you for all your kind donations and support helping me raise as much money as possible for Ellenor,. With your help I raised a grand total of £472 as well as lots of awareness about Ellenor. We put all of the names into a random name picker wheel and the winners were Mila & Leo, well done! Thankyou again for all your help you are all the best! Thankyou again for all your support, Freddie is incredibly proud of how much he has raised and the help this will give the charity and the people they are working with.

PTA Newsletter – Upcoming Events Mother and Others Gift Shop Thursday 12th & Friday 13th March Our popular Mother and Others Gift Shop is back! We have a great selection of gifts for children to choose from – all priced at £3 per gift. Please prepay via the Arbor app to ensure your child can take part. Volunteers Needed We would love your help at the following times: Thursday 12th March 12:00pm – 3:10pm Friday 13th March 8:50am – 12:00pm 1:00pm – 3:10pm Helpers will assist students with choosing gifts and ensuring the event runs smoothly. It's always a lovely experience seeing the children carefully select something special for their loved ones. If you are available to help during any of these times, please contact us (and not the school office) via email at: volunteers@loosepta.co.uk Easter Trail Friday 27th March Join us for our fun Easter Trail! SHOUT OUT Tristan was part of the Maidstone Hockey team that won their recent tournament yesterday and was very proud of his efforts! He ran his socks off and did some amazing tackles and big hits. He wanted to share this with you.

THANK YOU A huge thank you to Emma Latter, aunt of some of our children here at Loose. She works for the Mercure one of Aimbridge Hotels and they have been focusing on supporting children's access to books. Recent studies show that one in ten children do not have a reading book at home, and they are keen to help address this. As part of this initiative, they have purchased a selection of new books to donate to local schools and charities and we were very lucky to be one of the recipients! Huge thanks.

Loose Larder The Loose Larder will open its doors again on the following dates this month:- 17th March from 3pm in the Hive, (entrance by the 4/6 gate) Again we will have food provisions and branded pre-loved uniform. We will be joined by Ms Patey who leads our pastoral provision, please pop in if you have any questions for her. 31st March from 3pm in the Hive, (entrance by the 4/6 gate) Again we will have food provisions and branded pre-loved uniform. We will be joined by Ms Roberts who leads our young carers provision, please pop in if you have any questions for her. Please pop in if the larder can be of support to you. We have plenty of carrier bags for you to take items home, there is no charge for any of the food provisions. (school uniform will have a minimum charge and money collected for this will go to the PTA) If you have any questions please contact the FLO team via the school office. Comic Relief 2026 This Red Nose Day it's time to take things a bit less seriously. Lighten up a little and laugh loudly, proudly and together - at ourselves! Children are invited to come to school in their own clothes on Friday 20th March for a donation to Comic Relief. This year they are teaming up with Taskmaster Education so we are planning some Taskmaster style tasks. See link below for donations. Celebration Table Our Celebration Table was introduced on Friday 26th February in KS2. Invitations are given to children who have shown exceptionally good behaviour in the dining hall or the playground and are nominated by lunchtime members of staff. What a start to the term! Quartz class enjoyed their heart dissection workshop last week. We are learning all about the circulatory system and the function of the heart this term, so it was an amazing experience to be able to see a real heart up close!
